Gilgit Baltistan is the Most Important, beautiful, and capital city of Gilgit-Baltistan. Gilgit city is located near the confluence of the Hunza river and Gilgit River. Gilgit has many tourist points. Thousands of tourists come every year to Gilgit, it’s a major hub for mountaineers and adventurists in the Karakoram Range.
Gilgit Baltistan is the main hub of ancient civilization, and it was a
very important stop on the Silk Road. Now Karakoram Highway in Gilgit has road
connections with China, Skardu, Chitral, Peshawar, and Islamabad.
The Gilgit economy depends on agriculture and tourism.
