Swat
is known for its scenic view and tourist resorts but still, there are so many
places in swat valley from dense forests to mysterious lakes and waterfalls, which
are unexplored. One of them is Jarogo waterfall in Chakekal valley of Matta
tehsil in Swat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan about 55km from
Mingora towards the northwest.
Jarogo waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in
the world. The place is very safe for tourists. The northern peoples are famous
for hospitality. These people are very respectful.
The Jarogo means broom in the Pushto language but its history
goes back to the ancient of Hindu Shahi period of swat. There was a Hindu
woman name Jarogo, she was very famous in the surrounding areas which are
why the people name Jarogo after her.
