Swat Expressway

The Swat Expressway starts from Nowshera to Chakdara in Lower Dir District, Passing through Swabi, Mardan, Katlang, Malakand, and Swat district. The Swat Expressway was started in August 2016 and opened for traffic in June 2019. The traveling time will be reduced from 3 three hours to 1 hour from Nowshera to Chakdara. The Swat Expressway was constructed by the Frontier Works Organization (FWO).

Murree

Mingora, KpK

Mingora is a commercial city in the Swat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Mingora is located at 3,228 ft from the sea level, it is 2km away from Saidu Sharif. Mingora is the 3rd largest city in KP. Mingora is not only the administrative capital of Swat Valley , but it is also the main centre of economic, cultural and social activities in the region. Mingora has very pleasant and moderate weather and very good tourist attractions spot. Since the time of the Swat state from 1900s tourists from inside and outside the country stayed in Mingora before moving to the supper of Swat. The city is also a home of rare Buddhist ruins and stupas. At Panr, a stupa and Monastery have been excavated. At LowBanr, Butkara and Matalai, Italian archaeologists discovered 475 Aryan graves dated in between 1520 and 170BC and two horse skeletons. The Butkara is a very important stupa built by the Mauryan emperor Ashoka in the 2nd century BCE.
