Imran Khan is in big trouble! Several PTI MPs withdraw their support, govt in danger

Several MPs withdraw their support from Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. On Thursday ahead of a no-confidence vote, increase more doubt over whether the former cricketer can hang on to power. The development came a day after a key ally said Imran Khan is in danger of losing his coalition partners.

The Opposition accuses Imran Khan of undermining the country's economy and foreign policy. To Date, no Prime Minister of Pakistan has completed his time.

The threat of political turmoil in the nuclear-armed country is growing as the opposition seeks to oust Imran Khan from the vote, which could come this month after a no-confidence motion was tabled in Parliament last week.

"We have differences with the Prime Minister, " Raja Riaz, one of his lawmakers told local Geo News TV. "We will vote according to our conscience, " he claimed that there are more than 20 defectors.
